Why induction seal? 1. Tamper Evidence - Deter Pilferage 2. Leak Prevention 3. Increased Shelf Life - Product Freshness Where any of the above conditions are preferred and/or mandated, we can supply the right induction sealer to fulfill your requirement. Qualified APS personnel are always available to answer questions about induction sealing. A Packaging Systems has a fully functional lab to run your samples for inspection. The induction sealing process invloves an induction current being applied to a metal liner in a plastic cap. The bottle is first filled, then the cap is applied. The cap already has the liner inside. The liner contains the sealing material adhered to a foil layer. The induction current heats the foil liner, melting the sealant. The pressure of the threaded cap upon the bottle provides the required pressure. As the sealing layer cools, it adheres to the bottle.
